Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2, 2026

At Future Tool Lab, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal data is collected, handled, and protected when you interact with our website.

Who We Are

Our website address is: https://futuretoollab.com

What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Upon approval of your comment, your profile picture becomes visible to the public within the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading files with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images hosted on the site.

Contact Forms

If you fill out a form on our site, your submission details are securely captured and stored in our internal website database log so we can address your inquiries. We do not use this operational data for unsolicited marketing campaigns.

Cookies

  • Comments: If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies remain valid for one year.
  • Authentication & Logins: If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
  • Session Preferences: When you log in, we establish several cookies to preserve your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies persist for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login session will persist for two weeks. Logging out of your account removes these cookies immediately.
  • Publishing Logs: If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, tools, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the external website directly.

These third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that specific website.

Who We Share Your Data With

We respect your privacy. We do not sell or rent user details to marketers. Data sharing occurs strictly under explicit technical conditions:

  • Security & Automation: Visitor data may be processed through automated spam detection utilities.
  • Account Recovery: If you request a password reset, your current IP address will be included within the automated reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

  • Community Interactions: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
  • User Accounts: For users who register an account on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their profile workspace. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot alter their username). Website administrators can also view and update that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an automated profile account on this site, or have left active comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any details you have directly provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are legally, administratively, or securely obligated to retain.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated third-party spam detection service. All other system metrics remain managed safely inside our hosting platform’s database tables.
